Dressin for a Remodel
Hey guys, yeah I know it's been a while but recently my life has been going through a bit of restructuring, let's just say that this brickhouse is under construction and hopefully soon will be a beautifully refurbished brownstone! As long as this is my current reality, I thought I'd might as well grab the most fashion forward toolbelt I could find, gather together my HGTV magazines and prepare to roll up my sleeves and get my hands a little dirty. So this week I'm showing what I would wear to a construction site, this is “Dressin for a Remodel” and no, I have never modeled before. LOL
This outfit is gritty meets girly, with construction mainstays put together the Xtra Dressin way. I'm rockin perfectly distressed denim overalls, belted with an eggshell white Tory Burch utility belt. My necklace is made of pretty pink stones that could have come straight from the nearest quarry (perhaps a super chic one) and pastel pink Timberland boots round out this remodeled look.
The table this week has so many of my favorites that it's hard to decide where to start first. I love the red outdoor water faucet cork screw and the spout fixture bottle topper. I also adore the faucet handle salt and pepper grinders which are both cute and super functional. I had a blast from the past in finding a box that had an old diet plan that I used to follow complete with body blueprints, after all every good contractor has to start with solid blueprints, right! I just love my Home Depot wine glass in the shatter-proof sip cup. BTW never drink and operate machinery, luckily I didn't operate any of the machines shown in the pictures, I just stood in front of them and tried to look like I belonged on a jobsite; which I clearly do not. Well catch you later and remember when it comes to construction it's best to leave it to the professionals, myself NOT included!
